Statement
In my art I use figurative representations infused with personal narratives.
With themes of fragility, hope and melancholy I explore what it is to be human in a world that is more and more separated from nature.
As I search for clarity and certainty in my own life, my art sometimes reflects the contradictory nature of self-discovery.
Using natural materials like clay, fresh grass and dried flowers I create ephemeral sculptures where I try to catch the subtle and sometimes sorrowful beauty of life.
